Corrugating Rolls
Tungsten carbide corrugating roll is highly efficient, which uses the most advanced technology in corrugating production line. It combines high precision grinding and carbide-tungsten coating together, highly prolonging corrugating roll’s lifespan and enjoying economic feasibility in production.
Features of Tungsten Carbide Corrugating Roll- Tungsten carbide corrugating roll adopts 48CrMo alloy steel forgings as its material;
- After medium frequency quenching, the hardness of corrugating roll is higher than HRC60, and the depth is 7mm;
- Imported tungsten carbide powder and Praxair JP8000 HVOF system are adopted;
- Abrasion resistant tungsten carbide coating has a thickness of 50-60 micrometer;
- Compared with chrome plated corrugating roll, tungsten carbide corrugating roll can be used more than three times long with a cost less than twice;
- The whole production process will be inspected, and the corrugating rolls have passed ISO9001 certification;
After quenching and accurate grinding, our corrugating rolls have a chrome plated layer with a thickness no less than 0.08mm. The chrome plating surface offers low friction coefficient, long service life, and a hard, smooth and bright surface. After heat treatment, repeated destressing, medium frequency quenching, the surface of chrome plated corrugating roll possesses an evenly high harness, which is more than HRC58(HS73 ~ 80).
Features of Chrome Plated Corrugating Roll- With 50CrMoA alloy steel as its raw material, this chrome plated corrugating roll adopts multiple heat treatment processes to provide it with excellent thermal stability during operation;
- Corrugating roll is heat treated with medium-frequency induction, so its hardness after quenching is higher than HRC58;
- An exclusive flute type designing software is used, allowing real time equivalent magnification during fluting design, report displaying, and flute parameter optimizing. In this way, the economy and rationality of different flute types are guaranteed;
- Exclusive software for dynamic modeling of corrugating roll is used to record how upper roll moves, so as to optimize the flute type, reduce the vibration and lower the noise;
- Gantry closed-loop grinding machine is adopted for multiple high-speed grinding of corrugating rolls;
- Micro-crack electroplating is used for smooth surface;
